Sandy Paws Rescue Inc., a foster-based dog rescue in Massachusetts, recently introduced a sweet dog named Brewster who is searching for her forever home. Brewster, who is about four months old, is described as being a little shy but “definitely gets attached quickly when she gets to know you!”
Brewster is the perfect pet for those looking for a furry friend who will stay by their side. “She loves to be near her people, and enjoys whatever you’re doing, whether it’s quiet snuggles on the couch or a long romp in the yard,” explains Sandy Paws Rescue.
When it comes to her puppy training, Brewster is currently learning to walk on a leash as well as learn her basic commands, such as sitting. “She’s very treat-motivated and eager to please, and she’s a fast learner,” states Sandy Paws Rescue. As Brewster is only four months old she is also currently working on potty training.
Sandy Paws Rescue explains that in Brewster’s future home she would do best with older children, as she can be quite jumpy and rambunctious when she gets excited, noting that she does settle down fairly quickly. “Her foster home doesn’t have cats, but she’s a puppy so she can probably get along with most other animals. She definitely enjoys hanging out with the resident canine, and she loved meeting the other dogs at the dog park,” they explain. As a puppy Brewster would most likely be a good fit with a family with other pets. Now all she needs is someone willing to take a chance on her and give her the forever home she deserves.
