An Upstate woman who was shot by a family member about 6 weeks ago has now died. As we previously reported, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting at a home on North Harrison Bridge Road, the night of August 27th.
Upon arrival, deputies found two women suffering from gunshot wounds. Investigators determined that 37 year old, Charles Thomas Swigon II shot two of his family members and then fatally shot himself.
The two victims were transported to a local hospital. One of the victims, Mary Ann Knight of Simpsonville died Tuesday night from her injuries.
