The moment is finally here: Texas’ favorite grocery store is adding tap-to-pay.
In an announcement , H-E-B stated it would be rolling out digital tap-to-pay services in all of its stores. This will be a phased rollout, meaning H-E-B will gradually introduce the feature to stores across the country. Once implemented, customers will be allowed to make purchases using digital tap-to-pay services such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay at flagship stores.

When will H-E-B have tap-to-pay? San Antonio area will be first to get new service
H-E-B explained it will implement tap-to-pay services region by region, with the service becoming available to groups of stores each day throughout the month. And San Antonio residents are in for a treat, because they will be the first to experience the new feature.
The supermarket chain said it will take about a week to launch tap-to-pay at each location. Texas locations will see the service throughout the month, as well as Mi Tienda stores in Houston.
