Accident on Audubon Pkwy East sends one to hospital

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), an accident happened that involved a semi truck and a car at around 7:50 a.m.

HCSO says someone who was passing by the wreck made the call to emergency services and the car rear-ended the semi. Deputies report they are not sure of the cause of this accident as the woman driving car was in too much pain. Deputies say she was screaming due to an open fracture to a lower extremity, and has since been transferred to Owensboro Health.

Name released for man who died in 41A motorcycle crash

Law enforcement officials say the car was totaled and the driver of semi was a man. The highway cleared up a few minutes past 9:15 a.m.

The other agencies who responded to the accident included the Niagara Fire Department and Henderson County EMA.
