SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Fresh fruit grown in your own backyard could soon be a reality for you thanks to the local nonprofit Shreveport Green. They’re hosting a fruit tree giveaway this Thursday, October 10, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Mall St. Vincent parking lot. The trees will be passed out in the parking lot on the south side of the mall, near the old Sears department store location.
