One person was injured after a hot-air balloon crashed into a tree in Rio Rancho on Wednesday morning. According to Rio Rancho Police, a balloon was attempting to land at the old golf course in Rio Rancho. As the balloon was landing it hit a large tree in the area. The gondola was stuck 25 feet above ground in the tree. Two people were in the gondola at the time of the crash.
