WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Though many people are evacuating parts of southern Florida, one former Kansas sheriff is deciding to stay. Former Sedgwick County Sheriff Robert Hinshaw is now retired and living in Florida. He said he’s ridden out three major hurricanes since moving to the Sunshine State and plans to do the same for Hurricane Milton.
