ANNAPOLIS, MDThe Maryland Democratic Party has called on Charles “Chuck” Yocum to withdraw from the Anne Arundel County School Board race after an investigation by the Baltimore Banner uncovered further evidence corroborating serious sexual assault allegations made by former students. The Party’s statement highlights a troubling pattern of abusive behavior, making Yocum unfit for a position overseeing the county’s children, according to MDP spokesperson Luca Amayo.

“The evidence of Mr. Yocum’s pattern of abusive conduct is overwhelming and deeply disturbing,” said Amayo. “He has proven himself unfit for any public office—especially one involving the education and well-being of children.”
