Good chance to see the northern lights in Nebraska, Iowa Thursday night

OMAHA, Neb. – If you’ve missed out on viewing the northern lights in Nebraska and Iowa over the past week, tonight looks like your best chance. The U.S. Space Weather Prediction Center has issued a “G4 (Severe)” geomagnetic storm watch for Thursday night. This will lead to better chances of seeing the aurora borealis in Nebraska and Iowa in the nighttime sky.
