Morgan Wallen Foundation donates 100K+ pounds of food to Hurricane Helene survivors

East Tennessee native and music superstar Morgan Wallen’s day of support for his home area after Hurricane Helene has yielded impressive benefits.

Via a “HELP” campaign partnership between his foundation and Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee, an Oct. 9 food drive in East Tennessee filled six trucks with nearly 150,000 pounds of food donated for Helene-impacted residents.

Morgan Wallen’s Foundation and Second Harvest of East Tennessee’s Senior Manager of Engagement and Marketing, Michael Torano, confirmed the totals.

Wallen himself was joined by comedian Theo Von in Knoxville at the food drive as well as in touring areas recovering from last week’s tragic hurricane.

As well, at Nashville and Smyrna, Tennessee’s Second Harvest locations, members of The Neal Agency, Wallen’s booking agency, and Sticks Management, his management company, joined volunteers in packing 1,092 disaster relief kits filled with food for six meals and a can opener. That total equaled 6,552 meals and 16,380 pounds of food deployed from Middle Tennessee to Helene-affected areas.
