Less than a month after announcing plans for its first locations in Kansas, Chicken Salad Chick is continuing its expansion in the Midwest. The fast-casual chicken salad chain has opened its first restaurant in Iowa, bringing the company’s total footprint to 20 states. Located in Coralville, south of Cedar Rapids, the store will host its grand opening on Wednesday, Oct. 16. The first 100 guests in line will win free chicken salad for a year.
