Game camera catches accused UTV thieves in Panola County

PANOLA COUNTY, Texas ( KETK ) – Two minors were charged with burglary and theft on Wednesday after a game camera captured them riding a stolen utility vehicle, the Panola County Sheriff’s Office said.

According to the sheriff’s office, on Tuesday deputies responded to stolen UTV complaint at a residence on County Road 420.

“The suspects entered a residence as well as two vehicles and stole a side-by-side utility vehicle,” Panola County officials said.

The following morning, the sheriff’s office said investigators were able to identify two suspects who were caught on a game camera riding the UTV.

Both of the minors were taken into custody and taken to the Willoughby Juvenile Dentention Center in Marshall. The sheriff’s office said they were charged with burglary of a habitation and theft of property.
