SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Springfield police say they are investigating a homicide near the intersection of Glenstone and Bennett following reports of a deceased person Wednesday morning.
A heavy police presence responded to the area after a man was found dead at around 10:15 a.m.

SPD has not released the man’s identity at this time and has not provided any further details about the incident.
