LUBBOCK, Texas — The Dillard’s flagship location at the South Plains Mall officially opens in Lubbock on Thursday, October 10.
“It’s the flagship store for Dillard’s, the most exquisite store that we have built.” Clara Ellison, Dillard’s store manager said.
Ellison said the store will have products you know and love and new products other stores don’t have.

Dillard’s was an original department store at the South Plains Mall, the store has deep roots in West Texas.
“We got to watch a portion of this property that has been here for 52 years, have an entire change,” said Ashley Knox, Senior Marketing Manager at the South Plains Mall.
Ellison said the flagship store is several years in the making, while the store has been in the talks for several years and under construction for the last year. The grand opening is finally here and the department store is excited to serve the South Plains.
