Utah residents eagerly awaiting the chance to participate in the state’s prestigious hunting opportunities can soon apply for the coveted 2025 sportsman permits. Applications open on October 16 at 8 a.m., giving hunters the opportunity to submit their requests either online or by phone through their nearest Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) regional office. The application window closes at 5 p.m. for phone submissions on November 6, while online applicants have until 11 p.m. that same day to complete or withdraw their applications.
