HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KIAH) — Deer Park residents are urged to shelter-in-place and Pasadena residents are urged to take precaution at this hour after a deadly chemical release at the Shell Pemex facility at 5900 Hwy 225 around 6:30 p.m. Thursday evening.
East Harris County residents are on high alert after a Hydrogen Sulfide chemical release at SHELL PEMEX Facility in Deer Park. Early on, it was impacting an extended area including Pasadena. Many emergency units are on-site and where staging plans are underway in response to the dangerous chemical release.
