COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – While the presidential contest is grabbing most of the headlines, local races are also heating up with election day less than a month away. Residents in Muscogee County will have the opportunity to hear from candidates running for District Attorney and Solicitor General at a “Meet the Candidates” event. This event will take place at the City Services Center from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
