The La Salle County Jail is becoming a source of revenue. At Thursday’s county board meeting, Sheriff Adam Diss got unanimous approval on an intergovernmental agreement with Kane County to house a hundred of their inmates at a time in Ottawa. La Salle County will be compensated $65 per day, per inmate.
