Brock Purdy’s Strong Message After 49ers-Seahawks Says it All

The San Francisco 49ers started strong and never looked back as they beat the Seattle Seahawks, 36-24, at Lumen Field on Thursday.

Brock Purdy was once again a pillar of poise for the 49ers, throwing for 255 yards and three touchdowns. They never relinquished their lead throughout the contest.

The 49ers improved to 3-3 to tie the Seahawks atop the NFC West.

They bounced back from a painful defeat to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5, blowing a sizable 23-10 halftime advantage.

This time, Purdy made sure that they would finish off their opponent. They fended off the Seahawks, who made a last-ditch effort in the fourth quarter behind quarterback Geno Smith.

After the win, the 24-year-old quarterback admitted that they still have to iron out some wrinkles.

“We talk about it all the time, and it’s something we’ve had to get better at this season,” said Purdy in a report from the Associated Press . “Coach always says, no matter what the score is, our offense should be able to put up points when our team needs it.”
