Evidence against newly identified suspect in Dana Ireland case to remain secret

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Hawaii Supreme Court has issued its opinion on evidence that could affect a wrongful conviction compensation claim. The justices said recordings of interviews and other reports about Albert Lauro, Jr. will remain sealed while the Hawaii Police Department investigates his role in the 1991 Dana Ireland attack.
