Devils’ Brenden Dillon: First helper with new team

Dillon logged an assist, three hits, two PIM and a minus-2 rating in Thursday’s 4-2 loss to the Maple Leafs. Dillon picked up his first point as a Devil in his third game with the team. The 33-year-old blueliner has opened his New Jersey tenure on the top pairing alongside Dougie Hamilton. It’s a good spot and one that could lead to some trickle-down offense, but Dillon’s game is based on physicality and playing a shutdown role. He has seven hits, six blocked shots and 11 PIM over three contests in 2024-25.
