LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – During its 84-year history, the Arkansas State Fair has grown and expanded by leaps and bounds, but one thing that has remained is the incredible food options.
Over the years, the cuisine available at the fair has continued to expand and get more creative. When the gates open Friday, this year’s fair is set to continue that trend with dishes like spicy pickle pizza, fried key lime pie and gator bites, just to name a few.

Though there are many delicious items available at the fair, one of the most popular selections are the variety of deep-fried treats like pickles, ice cream, PB&J, Oreo’s and more.
Another popular staple of the fair is items on a stick like chicken and waffles, pizza and even spaghetti and meatballs.
You can also find a wide variety of the kind of food you’d expect at the Arkansas State Fair including hamburgers, BBQ, tacos and corn dogs.
In addition to the savory dishes, the Arkansas State Fair also has plenty of sweet options including roasted pecans, funnel cakes, ice cream nachos and pineapple whip.
