BUTTE, Mont. – The crew of Engine 3 from Butte is back home after aiding in firefighting efforts at the Line Fire in Southern California. The state of California declared an emergency when fires erupted throughout its southern region. This led to the activation of the Emergency Mutual Aid Compact, enabling resources from across the United States to converge on the affected areas.
