We all hate to see a mass lay-off situation, especially in our own state, but Illinois recently made it through a lay-off filled month of September. Across our state, according to numbers provided by IllinoisPolicy.org, over 700 Illinois workers were laid-off from their jobs in September. Of those 781 lay-offs, the biggest share of them came from Amazon closing their Goose Island fulfillment station and laying off 211 employees.
