Pedestrian struck by hit-and-run driver in east Las Vegas valley closing intersection

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash Friday morning that sent a pedestrian with injuries to the hospital.

According to Las Vegas Metropolitan police, the crash was reported just before 6 a.m. on E. Charleston Boulevard near N. Mojave Road.

Police said the vehicle fled the scene southbound after hitting the pedestrian.

No other details were released.
