Road closures resuming for Washington Bridge demolition

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Starting on Tuesday night, road closures will go back into effect as demolition work resumes on the westbound side of the Washington Bridge.

The demolition work was paused to allow state officials to “preserve evidence” for its ongoing legal battle with companies that allegedly failed to spot the bridge’s structural problems.
