Duke Robillard Goes Back To His Roots With The Release Of ‘Roll With Me’

Rhode Island has a few living legends who either currently live within the state’s borders, hail from this part of New England, or a combination of both. One of them without a doubt is the Woonsocket blues guitar icon Duke Robillard, and he has the resume to back it up. He’s a two-time Hall of Fame inductee while being part of both the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame and the New England Music Hall of Fame. He’s also a co-founding member of the legendary band Roomful of Blues while garnering a couple Grammy nominations as a solo artist along with collaborating with the likes of Robert Gordon, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jay Geils and Bob Dylan among many others. On August 30, Robillard added to his stellar creative output with the release of the full length album “Roll With Me” via the Canadian independent label Stony Plain Records.
