Lubbock Gas Prices Slightly Rise as Texas Average Increases

LUBBOCK, TX — Texas gas prices have risen to an average of $2.80 per gallon for regular unleaded fuel, according to the AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch. This marks a two-cent increase from last week and is 38 cents lower than last year. In major metropolitan areas, El Paso drivers face the highest average at $3.01 per gallon, while those in Tyler and Wichita Falls enjoy the lowest at $2.70. Lubbock sits near the lower end of averages at $2.72 per gallon, about 6 cents more than last week.
