Texas Tech University to hold Preview Day for future Red Raiders

LUBBOCK, Texas — Texas Tech University will hold a Preview Day for future Red Raiders on Monday, Oct. 14.

A press release from TTU said prospective students will use this opportunity to experience the campus and meet with faculty, staff and current students.  This is the time for high school students to visit college campuses.

“This event provides prospective students an opportunity to see what Texas Tech has to offer,” said Jason Hale, Executive Director of Admissions. “It’s the biggest recruitment event of the year for us.”

The release stated TTU is the largest research university in West Texas providing education and support to more than 41,000 students enrolled in more than 150 majors. It is also the only university system in the state with a comprehensive academic camps, law school and health sciences center on the same campus.

Jules Pender, Visitors Center manager said, “Texas Tech Preview gives prospective students a glimpse of college life.” Pender added that the event will give students opportunities to see what Texas Tech is all about.
