New York could see northern lights again tonight – here’s where you have the best chance

New York is forecast to enjoy a repeat performance of last night’s northern lights this evening — but aurora borealis aficionados will need to hightail it out of the city to take in a second showing.

According to the aurora forecast from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration ( NOAA ), the rare treat will be once again on display this evening.
