Paul Finebaum Names SEC Program He’s ‘Not That Impressed By’

Several teams are aiming for a comeback after last weekend’s upsets. One of them is the Alabama Crimson Tide, who lost to the Vanderbilt Commodores 40-35.

The Crimson Tide will be playing against the South Carolina Gamecocks this weekend. The Gamecocks have had an inconsistent season so far. They began the year with a 2-0 record and had a strong 31-6 victory over the Kentucky Wildcats. In week 3, they even hosted ESPN’s “College GameDay” for a big matchup against the LSU Tigers.

The Gamecocks jumped to a 17-0 lead but lost 36-33. They bounced back with a win against Akron but were then dominated by the Ole Miss Rebels 27-3 last weekend.

On the “Paul Finebaum Show,” the SEC Network analyst expressed confidence in Alabama’s ability to bounce back this weekend, citing his lack of enthusiasm for South Carolina.

“I feel pretty good about Saturday,” Finebaum said. “To me, it looks like a bounce-back game. I’m just not that impressed by the Gamecocks.”
