For Alabamians following the latest news on Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, the music mogul is making headlines again as details emerge about his time behind bars and the upcoming trial on sex crime charges. According to People Magazine, Combs’ legal team has revealed that one of the biggest challenges for him while in custody is adjusting to the prison food.
After a status conference on October 10, Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, spoke to reporters outside a federal courthouse in Manhattan, saying, “I think the food’s probably the roughest part of it.” Combs is currently being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center as he awaits trial, which has been scheduled for May 5, 2025.
Combs’ daily routine behind bars reportedly begins at 6:00 a.m., with a breakfast that typically includes cereal, fruit, and a breakfast cake. Lunch is served at 11:00 a.m., featuring options like hamburgers, baked fish, or beef tacos. Dinner, served after the 4:00 p.m. headcount, includes meals such as chicken fajitas, pasta, or roast beef. The prison also offers “heart-healthy” meals and vegetarian options, including lentils, tofu, and baked beans. Despite these options, adjusting to the food has reportedly been difficult for Combs, whose lifestyle has dramatically changed since his incarceration.
