FOLEY, Ala. (WALA) – Police in Foley are investigating a pair of incidents that they said they believe are connected. According to the Foley Police Department, officers responded to a reports of shots fired in the 800 block of East Verbena Avenue around 12:15 p.m. Officers arrived to find one person suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
