MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) – You may have scrolled past a fearmongering fake forecast in your social media feed this week showing yet another hurricane barreling toward the Gulf Coast. You may have also seen posts from credible meteorologists asking you not to spread that misinformation. National Weather Service Meteorologist Rudy DiCarlo, who works in the Mobile office, says the false post he saw showed a previous hurricane track with the next name up on the storm list on it.
