Monk (personal) is out for Friday’s preseason game against the Kings, as he is still away from the team, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports. It was previously reported that Monk rejoined the team on Thursday, which may have been true, but he is again away due to personal matters. He is not expected to miss an extended period of time. The Kentucky product figures to once again be in the 6th Man of the Year conversation as the Kings’ top bench option this season.
