Chalfont Pizzeria Owner Charged with Indecent Assault in Restaurant

CHALFONT, PA—The owner of a Chalfont restaurant turned himself in this week to face charges that he indecently assaulted a customer who had returned to his restaurant to retrieve her cell phone earlier this summer.

The Central Bucks Regional police said that on Aug. 17, 2024, the owner of Leonardo’s Pizza on Butler Pike indecently assaulted a customer who re-entered his restaurant to retrieve a cell phone that had been left inside. Police said that 39-year-old Nery Leonardo Vasquez-Pascual of Telford, who already knew the customer, returned the phone, but then physically turned the victim’s body toward him and grabbed their backside while aggressively kissing them.

Police said the victim was able to escape into their car outside, but Vasquez-Pascual followed them outside and knocked on the car’s window. The victim drove away but later found that Vasquez-Pascual had used the phone to send naked pictures of the victim and their partner to Vasquez-Pascual’s cell phone.
