DES MOINES, Iowa – A Des Moines cat put a few of its 9 lives on the line in 2008 when it chased a squirrel up a power pole on the city’s northwest side. The squirrel got away and, according to one witness, brought another squirrel back to taunt the cat, which was stuck on top of a transformer.
