SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A woman in Shreveport now has an affordable new home thanks to an initiative to provide housing to people in the area who are in need. On Friday, Oct. 11, the woman, Nelda Crumpton, was presented the keys to her newly renovated home on Hutchinson Street. Dr. L. Lawrence Brandon, known as Bishop Brandon, and the Northwest Louisiana Community Development Corporation were on-hand to present the keys.
