A defendant accused of escaping custody during a pursuit with police into Washington County was sentenced to prison following a plea hearing held in St. George. Currently in custody at Utah State Prison, 30-year-old Stetson Kyle Myler of West Valley City, appeared via video conference before District Judge Keith C. Barnes on Sept. 26 for a change of plea hearing.
