Kobe Prentice injury update: Latest on Alabama WR’s status against South Carolina

Alabama and South Carolina are set to square off as both look to bounce back from disappointing losses last week. And for the Crimson Tide, the status of wide receiver Kobe Prentice looms large.

According to the SEC injury report released on gameday, Kobe Prentice will not play against the Gamecocks. He has been ruled out.

In addition to that, fellow receiver Kendrick Law has been listed as a game-time decision.

Earlier in the week coach Kalen DeBoer had provided an update on both , seemingly hopeful that they’d both be available this weekend. That obviously won’t be the case now.

“Both of them out here going through workouts,” DeBoer said. “On track like we thought they should be, making progress towards the weekend. Wouldn’t say that they’re full go yet, but they’re on pace we had hoped. So getting some work in, some individual and some team work there too. It’s progressing along and they’re doing a good job.”
