Pittsburgh’s Department of Public Works Environmental Services plans to host their fall yard debris collection event early next month, allowing residents to be environmentally responsible by recycling organic waste. Scheduled for November 2nd, the program encourages locals to set out their compostable yard debris curbside before 6 a.m. Accepted items include branches, leaves, grass, and even post-Halloween pumpkins for composting purposes.
