K-pop fans to gather at USC auditorium for day devoted to Korean music October 18

The University of Southern California will host an all-day meeting devoted to K-pop on October 18. Industry insiders will speak at Annenberg Auditorium on 3502 Watt Way. The event is open to the public but seating is limited. Free tickets can be ordered online.

In the morning, there will be a discussion of K-pop journalism, followed by a discussion of songwriting and publishing. After lunch, Spade A, a USC student K-pop dance cover group, will perform.

Later in the afternoon, there will be a session about the marketing of Korean culture and a discussion about K-pop in the United States.
