Spokane Police Department uses Air Support Unit to help locate missing endangered woman

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Police Department (SPD) was able to find a missing endangered woman thanks to the department’s Air Support Unit (ASU) . According to SPD, officers responded to reports of a missing person on Saturday, October 5 near East Upriver Drive near John H. Shields Park. SPD said it was told that a woman who suffers from night blindness was last seen in a wooded area an hour before and that the woman was roughly 1.5 miles away from where they were.
