Commerce City Man Spared Prison, Receives Probation in Child Prostitution Sting

A man from Commerce City caught in a sting targeting child predators has been given a probation sentence. 40-year-old Daniel Goodfield was apprehended in March of this year during an operation by the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, after he arranged to pay for sexual acts with two girls, one of whom was 14 years old, and showed up at a Larimer County hotel where law enforcement officers were waiting for him. Captured and jailed, Goodfield faced charges including patronizing a prostituted child and soliciting for child prostitution.
