H.Wood Group Submits Plans to Bring Nice Guy Concept to Miami Beach

The H.Wood Group , the hospitality firm behind Brickell ’s Delilah and other concepts across the country, appears to be bringing its “mafia-inspired restaurant from Los Angeles,” The Nice Guy , to Miami Beach .

The news was announced earlier this month by Bercow Radell Fernandez Larkin + Tapanes , a firm representing the H.Wood Group.

“If the board approves The H.wood Group’s application, the firm has proposed a 198-seat Nice Guy restaurant that includes a 54-seat dining room, a 14-seat bar and a private dining room,” says the announcement. “The restaurant would occupy the entire building, which extends to 947 Lincoln Road, an address that housed Hofbrau Munchen until 2019.”

The menu at The Nice Guy’s Los Angeles location features a selection of dishes from Italian-American cuisine. These include pasta dishes like Cacio e Pepe and Spaghetti Pomodoro, along with pizzas in varieties like Margherita, Pepperoni, and Hawaiian.

“The Nice Guy’s aesthetic pays homage to a decadent era of Mafia bars and restaurants, where the owners and their friends can enjoy an evening together,” says the Nice Guy website . “Upon entry the vintage marble and brass bar greets you. Its size, scale and shape invite the guests to a unique social experience, encouraging conversation and camaraderie.”
