RICE LAKE, Wis. (WEAU) – Many communities across the southern United States are recovering from Hurricane Helene and people in Western Wisconsin are rallying to help. Kurt Wohlk and Kaitlin Esanbock put out a call to action on Facebook, asking people to bring donations to the Barron County Fairgrounds. From there, farmers and local residents came out to donate hay and animal feed along with water, toiletries and other needed supplies.
