Cold front to cause drop in temperatures in the Piedmont Triad next week

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — A breezy day for Sunday with much cooler weather returning for next week.

Cool and clear tonight with a low near 50.

Sunny, warm a bit breezy Sunday afternoon. Those winds are being pushed out ahead of a cold front that will be moving through on Monday.

The high on Monday will depend on how fast the cool, dry front spreads over the Piedmont Triad. Highs should reach the upper 60s to around 70 before the temperatures start dropping because of that front.

The rest of the week will see highs near 60 and lows from 36-40. We could have Frost Advisories for parts of the FOX8 viewing area from Wednesday morning through Friday morning.
