SHREVEPORT, La. – The 27th annual Pioneer Day took place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the LSUS Pioneer Heritage Center. The event featured seven historic buildings, including the Caspiana House, a dogtrot log cabin, a commissary, and a doctor’s office. Each building was filled with artifacts that showcased how residents of the era lived and worked.
