The Golden Corral Grill And Buffet in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, was cited for eight violations during a routine inspection by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation on October 1, 2024. State records showed that the popular buffet restaurant, known for its all-you-can-eat American fare, received two high-priority and six basic violations.

Although the St. Lucie County eatery, located at 651 Nw Saint Lucie West Blvd, wasn’t ordered to close, it required a follow-up inspection to address the issues. On October 4, 2024, a callback inspection showed the restaurant meeting standards with three basic infractions remaining.

The initial inspection revealed temperature management issues for various food items. The inspector issued a stop sale on several dishes due to unsuitable cold holding temperatures, leading to high-priority infractions.

These included pasta Alfredo, rice, cooked beans, sausage, coleslaw, tuna salad, cut melon, macaroni and cheese, seafood salad, banana pudding, cooked meats, and cut spinach.
