SOUTHEASTERN N.C. – Three media partners are coming together to help inform New Hanover County voters about candidates seeking local seats this election season. Port City Daily, WHQR and WECT will welcome the public to a political forum at Cape Fear Community College’s Union Station Auditorium on Monday, Oct. 14, at 6 p.m. Monday night’s forum will include journalists Peter Castagno of Port City Daily, Ben Scachtman of WHQR and Ava Brendgord of WECT asking Senate candidates questions at 6 p.m. and House candidates at 7:15 p.m.
